WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION These workshops are designed to give participants including managers and HR specialists the confidence to deal effectively with employee issues when they arise.

WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION This one day workshop will give those involved in managing employees in the workplace the confidence to carry out workplace investigations with due process and consideration to the rules of natural justice and fair procedures.

The participants on the course will be given the opportunity to learn through case studies and practical discussion which will greatly assist the transfer of knowledge back into the workplace.

The outcomes from the day will include:

  1. An understanding of the role of the investigator in conducting an investigation into workplace incidents.
  2. Awareness of the legal and policy framework.
  3. Developing terms of reference that will be used for the investigation.
  4. An understanding of the importance of fair procedures and natural justice.
  5. Recognise any conflict of interest that may arise prior to or during the investigation.
  6. The ability to write up documentation and reports arising out of the investigation.
